Drugi teden v Ladakh, Indija

In to še kako velja, ko potuješ z otrokom.

“I wrote this post couple of days ago. But since we didnt find any WIFI, I am publishing it today – couple of days before we leave Ladakh.” That’s it. Because of the things that we have experienced in the last days, I simply love traveling. OK, it was not exactly easy, but all the effort was definitely paid after 4 days. The way to the southeastern part of Ladakh was not easy. Because all this places lie at an altitude of 4500 or more, the appropriate acclimatization was very important. And this is even more true when you are traveling with a child. Right after crossing the first pass, 5328 meters high Tanglang, a completely different world opened in front of us. A fantastic landscape, surrounded with high mountains, mysterious high mountain lakes of magical colors, a landscape where nomads and their hard-working lifestyles still exists. But sometimes I have to admit it was a bit hard. 🙂 Night at Lake Tso Kar was probably the coldest night we experienced till now and we survived it in the unheated barracks. Fortunately, we were the only guests in the barracks, so we had the privilege to use a total of 6 blankets 🙂 Any activity at an altitude of about 5000 meters above sea level is a story for yourself and you can simply forget about a soccer game with local kids. But when we look at these photos we all agree that the last few days have been really unforgettable. Days we would happy repeat.
