Bad weather is usually just a bad excuse for staying at home. And apparently we get it when we get older. Because with children the weather is not really a factor that would affect their enjoyment in outdoor activities. A few years ago we got a good lesson while traveling in Scandinavia. It was just great to watch all local people, playing football, badminton, even though it was raining outside. There was even one family that had a picnic on the highway stop while there was raining quite heavily. And I have to say, that we were eating inside the car and just watching them. Lately we go out even if the weather forecast is not really good. We go exploring forests, caves and going to lake Cerknica couple of weeks ago was also not a bad choice. There was no water for kayaking, but there was plenty of water above us. 🙂 Still we had a great time and exploring all this magical landscape through a child’s eyes is certainly something special.

Petra - Fino. ReplyCancel
