Short trip to…

If I had to choose three nearby destinations that suit us in every way and that I would recommend it to others at any time, I would choose Bohinj, Val d’ Orcia in Tuscany and Dolomites. The nature there is just amazing. And if you think, that you need a lot of money and time for visit them, you are just wrong. And I can really recommend them also to young families – especially if you enjoy nature, far away from the hordes of tourists. In 2013 it was the first time we didn’t go to Tuscany after almost 3 years of visits. Bohinj is on our plans all the time, especially during the summer months, on weekdays, when we take a ride to Bohinjska Bistrica, park the car and slowly enjoy in a nice bike ride to our most beautiful lake. Since our Jaka was born we visited Dolomites quite a few times so far. We enjoy sleeping on mountain passes and being waken up by the bells of the morning visitors, enjoy discovering wonderful lakes, fantastic viewpoints … The most beautiful parts we have discovered so far, are hiding around the Giau Pass.

So if you do not know where to go in the spring or the summer months, one of these could be your next travel destination. 🙂
