🙂 🙂 In kaj naj napišem o cilju? 🙂

Friday’s first snowfall in this winter and an excellent weather forecast for Saturday was the reason that we didnt spend this Saturday at home. We planned to visit Zajamniki meadow for some time now and because of fresh snow we knew that we can experience winter fairytale. The only thing I was worried was if there will be any path in the fresh snow. We started from Rudno polje a little before noon and we were surprised that the Pokljuka was practically empty. Expecially beacuse of the fairytale conditions all around us. Path leading to the Uskovnica meadow was fine but when we turned left on the crossroad we found out, that there were obviously just couple of people hiking before us to Zajamniki. And what should I write about the destination? I can not find words to describe this winter wonderland. When you hike to the hill in the far south of the meadow and look towards the snow-covered mountain peaks on the other side – well, I am speechless!!! On the meadow we also met some extremely friendly locals, who offered us some tea from mountain flowers and, of course, some strong local stuff for us elders. 🙂 🙂 We returned to Rudno polje in pitch dark and it was really special walking on the way back with head lamps and listen to that cracking sounds from walking on a frozen snow. And if your 7 years old son after the end of the 7-hour snow adventure says “Dad, that was a really good trip”, you know that the day was really special. 🙂
