* * *

We had been planning a rafting trip on the Kolpa river for some time and a few days ago we finally managed to do it. In fact, it all started on the river Krka, where, on the recommendation of new neighbours, we stopped on a local swimming spot for a short break on the way to Kolpa. Because it turned out that the location is super great, we stayed there till late evening and because of that we spent that night in Črmošnjice, on campervan stop. 🙂 The next morning it was action again, this time rafting. I know the upper, Kostel part of the Kolpa River quite well, as my genes come from there, and I also spent quite a few days there in my youth. Since it was a mans day, we also combined rafting with fishing and, considering the catch, we were quite successful. 🙂 The path from Kobilna jama, where we started the tour, to KolpaRaft Skender, where we camped after that, was easy, but in some calm parts of the river it was too boring already. But fortunately the water was quite warm and we somehow endured that as well. 😉
