Kojnik, Golič, Lipnik in ostali goli vršaci nad kraškim robom, sosedje precej bolj znanega in obiskanega Slavnika, so bili prava izbira za sobotni skoraj 5 urni pohod. Lepi in mirni so tisti konci. 😉

Its a very busy weekend behind us. On Friday and Sunday we spent a lot of time playing ice hockey on a frozen pond not far away from our house. But on Saturday it was time for a trip to a little “warmer” places right now in Slovenia. Kojnik, Golič, Lipnik and other hills above the Karst edge, neighbours of much more famous and visited Slavnik were the right choice for Saturdays nearly 5-hour hike. I really like those places and I try to visit them at least once per year – usually by bike but there are also great destinations for hiking. Its so calm there, landscape is amazing and you have a feeling that you have it just for yourself. It was the same on Saturday, when we met just a group from Italy, who tried to find a path to the village Zazid nearby – I hope that they managed till now. 🙂  Despite the fact that the Slovenian coast was hidden in a fog and that it was impossible to see the sea it was still a great trip – maybe it could be just a little bit warmer. 🙂
