Milijonska starodavna mesta polna življenja, hrupa in neverjetno pisanih barv. Pokrajine s fantastičnimi trdnjavami in skrivnostnimi templji. In mogoče prav zaradi njih in zaradi zgodb, ki nas povezujejo z njimi, bo Indija ostala v naših spominih vedno zapisana s posebnimi črkami.

* * *

Two days ago we were still in a chaotic capital of India Delhi. After a day on the road we finally got back home. And its great to be home again. At home, where the sky is still blue, where everything is incredibly clean, tidy, and above all without unnecessary noise. Yes, after visiting the country like India, you appreciate things that you otherwise take for granted. But despite the fact that there were moments, when we had enough of India, this was for sure one of more beautiful trips we have done so far. True journeys are never easy and it is right that you get some gray hair because of them. 🙂  🙂 Ladakh and Rajasthan, places we visited during these five weeks are completely different. If Ladakh is a synonym for fantastic mountain landscape with emerald rivers and high mountain lakes, is Rajasthan on the other side a place, where you can find ancient cities full of colors, noise, mysterious temples… But this two places have also something in common – simple, kind, and smiling people who stop you on roads, in museums, on mountain passes … and ask about your country, your family … And perhaps because of them and stories connecting us with them, India will remain in our memories always written in special letters.
