In potem smo zavili navkreber.

The intro to Durmitor was amazing. Great weather forecast for the next two days, the nice camp Mlinski Potok with ultra friendly owners and a fantastic landscape everywhere around us was the recipe for a great adventure. The road to Durmitor was magnificent. On the way from Lake Biograd, we first stopped at the Dobrilovina monastery, chatted with a local nun and met the only two tourists of those days – the tourists were, of course, from Slovenia. 🙂 After the monastery we stopped on the bridge over the river Tara. Because of the coronavirus we had to cancel our plan for rafting on the river. After that we turned uphill. Durmitor, Montenegro’s largest national park, has a lot to offer. From the majestic mountains and hiking tours, to the mysterious lakes, archeological sites and landscapes that also remind you of some grassy plains of Asian countries … In this post I am publishing just a few photos of the lovely villages and landscapes we met on the way to the camp.
